My name is Gabriel Fernandez and I am a lifelong resident of the Central Coast. I grew up in the small community of Nipomo California, and in 1989 graduated from Arroyo Grande High School. My family is rooted in this area, all my children were born here, and I am proud to call the most beautiful part of California my home.
I have been in the financial Services field since 1992. Starting this time I analyzed information and prepare plans best suited to my individual clients' requirements. Most importantly, during this time I developed and executed business development strategies to attract and acquire new clients. These strategies have been proven, and have brought success to a number of individuals that have worked with me. I have always been a leader in the industry because I take the time to review clients' financial circumstances and future goals. Assisting my clients in making the best decisions has always been my number one priority. During these years in the financial field, I found ways to communicate complex information to clients and make them aware of all options; I helped them assess investment strategies to meet short and long term financial objectives.
In 1996 I moved to a more specialized financial field with Greater Suburban Mortgage. During this time I excelled at execution financial strategies and manage to retain my customer base that I had gained during my time as a financial planner. I became one of three top producers with GSM and grew to become an expert in sales of all mortgage banking products. My expertise allowed me to further develop and present multiple business cases outlining marketing strategy, cost analysis, expected return, test design and past results to senior management. I drove my marketing strategies and improved effectiveness of sales campaigns to ensure consistency of brand message being communicated to our entire customer base, both established and new.
In 2003 I co-founded Capitol Mortgage Services. This was the first time that I really felt like a business owner/entrepreneur. I managed to form a significant executive level network and gained more experience from the mortgage bankers’ services industry.
As Owner I was required to evaluate the investment proposals on the basis of the risks as well as return. During this time, I realized how much Real Estate and Mortgage Banking go together side by side. Finally, in 2007, during what some people feel is the worst time to be in the mortgage industry, I became Regional Sales Manager for serval different mortgage bankers and simultaneously established Capitol Realty Investments. From that time until now I have lead a team of successful Mortgage Brokers, Loan Originators, and Real Estate professionals to be successful in all areas of this industry. With my help, Equity Reach Inc. and Capitol Realty Investments have developed and implemented new systems in cash management, lending solutions, and managing a broad array of lending products to meet all of our clients financing needs. I have successfully driven business sales and revenue growth as an individual producer and as a team leader in my assigned market area. I am an expert who coaches and mentors to all people who work with me and follow through to uncover opportunities my current market and potential future prospects.
